Base of the Pyramid Enterprise Fund
iDE has been involved in rural marketing for 28 years and has found that market-based distribution systems are far more effective than subsidies and giveaways. Establishing these systems is the basis for sustainable transformative change and is the key driver for the Base of the Pyramid Enterprise Fund.
Disruptive Innovation Fund
Disruptive Innovation is a technology innovation, affordability initiative or value addition that disrupts the status quo for the betterment of all. The Innovation Fund advances iDE's work to generate productivity and income opportunities for smallholder farmers.
Women's Impact Fund
Women produce 60 to 80 percent of the food in many developing countries and are responsible for half of the world's food production, yet their key role as food producers and providers and their critical contribution to household food security are consistently undervalued. The Women's Impact Fund unleashes the potential of female smallholder farmers.
Rural Finance Fund
Many farmers are not able to capture market opportunities because they don't have $100 to $500 to invest in innovative irrigation techniques or other technologies. The Rural Finance Fund provides farmers with the agricultural credit they need to increase their productivity and their income.
Core Leadership Fund
The primary vehicle of IDE program effectiveness is the quality of the people engaged. The Core Leadership Fund invests in IDE's key human resources and a global information sharing network, recognizing that any organization prospers only when it has a strong leadership group.
